Lake GARDA

Lake Garda is the biggest lake of Italy and of the alpine area with its 390 km2. It shows, with its landscape, a charming contrast between high mountain sceneries and beaches surronded by a luxuriant vegetation. The Garda natural frame is certainly extraordinary: the cultivation of olive trees, the gently declinig beaches, the green gardens and the Monte Baldo with its 2.000 mt to climb!

Summer resorts are composed by many hamlets, some situated by the lake side, others on the hillside of Monte Baldo and in the mountains. Brenzone sul Garda stands by a long stretch of the "Riviera degli Olivi", south of Malcesine, where the lake is narrow and deep. Not far from the lake side, it is possible to admire two small islands. The panoramic hinterland allows excursions on the hill, among the olive trees, and in the mountain, reaching the alpine refuges.

The nature lovers will discover a real paradise: the lake and the hill hinterland are the perfect environment for sailing, trekking, horse riding, golf, tennis, bike trips, excursions in the mountains and a lot more!

The surroundings are full of interesting places and cities of art; you can easily visit Verona with its famous Arena and Venice with the lagoon and its beautiful islands.
